Local Alexandria, VA Lawyer volunteers time to help at risk youth.

The Devonshire Program is held in conjunction with Fairfax County Public Schools Student Safety and Wellness Office Alcohol and Other Drug Use Suspension Intervention Seminars. Together they provide assistance to at risk students who have managed to get themselves into legal difficulty involving the use of alcohol or drugs.

This is a unique program that interacts with students on a one on one bases in small classroom setting in an attempt to "get through" to them before they get into the kind of trouble that will effect their lives forever. It case best be describes as an "in your face" interaction with the students there.

Anna Chludzinski, Esq., founding partner at the law firm of Chludzinski & Mitchell, PLLC, and, Phoenix Ayotte, Esq., both experienced criminal defense attorneys, donated their time today to assist these at risk youth to better understand the legal system they have found themselves in and how best to navigate it.
